The Story<\/h3>\n

This is the 3-D version. \u00a0It is a take on the story of Rapunzel. \u00a0A thief named Flynn Rider, having stolen a crown meant for the missing princess and running away from the castle guards, comes upon a tower in the forest. \u00a0He climbs it to escape the guards and finds is apparently empty.<\/p>\n

In fact a girl by the name of Rapunzel is living there. \u00a0She steals the crown. She promises to give it back to the thief, if he would take her to see the floating lanterns. \u00a0The King and Queen release the floating\u00a0lanterns\u00a0to commemorate the birthday of their lost princess, which oddly is on the same day as Rapunzel’s. \u00a0The thief agrees to take Rapunzel.<\/p>\n

PLOT SPOILER: \u00a0Not surprisingly, neither the thief, nor Rapunzel realize at the beginning that she is the missing princess.<\/p>\n

Like<\/strong><\/p>\n

I liked how it was a bit more modern and interesting than the original Rapunzel story. \u00a0The 3-D effect was very believable – the floating\u00a0lanterns\u00a0looked like they were so close they could be touched. \u00a0I liked how her hair would glow and heal when she sang. \u00a0I also liked how, in the end, Flynn (the thief) and Rapunzel, discover who they really are.<\/p>\n

Dislike<\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn’t like how when her hair was cut, it turned brown, lost its power, and couldn’t\u00a0grow\u00a0any more. \u00a0 I also didn’t like Flynn’s two accomplices because they were not very bright and didn’t do much for the movie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
