So many things to give thanks for.  Amelia is doing very well in school taking courses in Urban Ecology, Dance Anatomy, Essay Writing, Environmental Politics.   And she’s working part-time and gaining valuable career experience. <\/p>\n

Coming home for the holidays, Amelia planted her tree in the front yard.   It’s a “Kwanzan” Cherry Tree (prunus serrulata<\/em>)  and will grow to 20 – 40 feet high and 25 – 35 feet wide.  It will bear double pink flowers in the spring and orange & yellow leaves in the fall.  The Oregon juncos, finches, blue jays, sparrows and humming-birds will love her tree in the years to come.<\/p>\n

It’s pouring rain… looks like a major storm has come.  But the cherry tree was planted today!<\/p>\n
